Eroticism and Photography
Eroticism is a way to stimulate the sex drive. The eroticism is directly connected with the idea of sexual fantasy. "Sexual fantasies are inevitable and healthy, having great importance in sexual life, as part of a feed desire and sexual motives, having its genesis in sex drive" [1]
The eroticism is one of the more served in our current culture. It is applied in our media in order to win the spectator, for his sexual drive and desire for possession of the show.
The photographer Bern Stern, in his photo shoot with Marilyn Monroe, one of the biggest sex symbols of the twentieth century, shows his impulse and desire on the model at the very moment of the photo shoot. He comments that "It reveals much more complicit than I would suppose. At the end of an hour or so, almost see where I can get. The diverse ideas come into my mind, and she picks up in the air, plays fully. Needless to say what she should do. Almost do not exchange a word. Things happen naturally. I photographed many women, and Marilyn is the best of all. Realize everything you have in mind. " [2]
Modern women, with a Marilyn or not, have a much larger force of eroticism, this force already well explored in many papers sensual and erotic, with quality or not.
"I do not know if the perfect model exists. It is important that she knows how to play and seduce with their femininity and sensuality, using your eyes, mouth, hands, and then, together, your whole body. What really makes me shoot a woman is the fact that it wants to achieve the desired result with me. "
